Welcome reader,
A Conscious Mind Recognizes Universal Truth is a sequel hub to another hub I wrote a while back. The goal is to possibly open your mind to more things and you're already aware of. It can be a troubling process, but to use a conscious mind does wonders for those who choose to do so.
It isn't in my nature to lie, because as a child I was told integrity is required above all else. It is important to understand that your parents should have taught you more about your own mind, but then again, it isn't something they were likely taught themselves.
The most important aspect of your individual life is hidden in your own thoughts and brought out in your actions. A conscious mind does not have to run away from truth, because the user seems to understand that their thoughts and actions are done for a reason and with a consequence. They, most of the time, already see the truth in their actions and know exactly what is going to happen when they do act.
A Conscious Mind Discerns Truth!
It is a truth- a conscious mind discerns truth, because much is not missed. One who uses a conscious mind, can see their own ego in their way, can understand the reasons for emotions, can see the plight of others and able to figure out a path of least resistance.
Those who are not using a conscious mind to determine their thoughts and/or actions, bring more trouble than worth, but since human beings are flawed, then acceptance is required. There are plenty of people who seem to use forgiveness as a tool, but fail to understand that usually even when forgiveness is used, the forgetting part never goes away and those who use forgiveness in this manner, also failed to actually forgive, because they have bad feelings inside that remain from what was to be forgave.
People see truth as a perspective?
Those who see truth as a individual perspective, have much to learn about life, knowledge, themselves and wisdom. Not to mention, they do more harm to themselves and others, because of their chosen ignorance or lack of knowledge. This was discussed in another hub I wrote in more detail.
Many people fail to realize that there truly are only two sides to every story and only a black and white world. It's those who see gray areas in between the "black" and "white" sides. They fail to realize that humanity's reality is one of duality, ying and yang.
The nature of a conscious mind never needs to escape the truth of life, because as life is lived, it is also discerned by those who employ conscious thought and actions. It cannot be stressed enough, due to the fact that the state of the world is not improving, but actually getting worse than ever before. The high level of people who are not using consciously active thoughts and actions, are being led to think and act in manners in which they do not see themselves doing in the first place.
Truth Is Truth!
Truth is truth. If you want to find truth is fairly simple to do- be honest(completely honest) with yourself, about being honest with yourself. The fact that too many people are actually not doing this, shows more ignorance than the world can handle, as a collective whole.
The easiest way to understand- "Truth is Truth" is to know that Truth is in everything. Yes, Truth is IN everything, including a Lie. The truth located within a lie, is that the lie is truly a lie and not truth. It takes a conscious mind to reveal the truth.
The original hub "A Single Conscious Mind Changes The World" is about changing your way of thinking or mind. It's important to always be open to learn, gain knowledge and obtaining the wisdom need to find truth. It can only be done, by consciously active, self improving people who are dedicated to growing and expanding their mind.

Holy moly, that's quite a piece for 26 minutes. I'm pondering the truth is even in a lie bit. Very well done! The world would be a better place if people were able to just be honest with themselves.
What a refreshing topic, I was happy the moment I saw it as I knew what were to come. Well Done! I appreciate how you touched on decernment. I enjoy the reality to decern and yet so many think of it as a special gift, I tell others to step inside the blank space between your thoughts and enjoy the gap where all truth is within us. And, you would be correct- the world would be a much better place if more people were truly honest with themselves, but it's unfortunate that many do not want to wake up to the facts of life. Hey K9, there is a difference between conscious mind and our individual conscience. The conscious mind listens to one's conscience, because our awareness requires us to do so. We(each of us) has the ability to learn from our conscience about what's right to do and what is not. Our conscious mind then allows us to see the truth(insight) within ourselves. It would be great if more people truly stood on Integrity, so the goodness could be obtained through their actions. Thank you very much for your compliment and comment. I learnt somewhere, long ago, that the conscious mind = the conscience = God's voice in us. The voice of truth. What ever our thoughts or actions, the conscious mind will always ring the truth. ALWAYS.

I think I agree with what this "hub" is written to explain, but there are so many mistakes in grammar and syntax that I stopped reading about 3 - 4 paragraphs into it.
I'm sorry that I'm so anal about the way and manner something is written. Well, really, I'm not.
I have to give ya credit for goin' for it. I just wish ya'd be a bit more "conscious" concerning your use of my favorite language i.e English.
I really want to read something from you that is well thought out, well organized and presented and is indicative of your doubtless, insightful understanding of all you decide to write about.
I'm sure it doesn't matter to you, but I'm disappointed in your seemingly, to me, careless use of language.

Hey Qwark, I have no doubt you'll have trouble with my usage and I have no doubt about the grammar within the hub. It was done in less than 30 minutes and I have not done a review of the hub since it was written.
I use "conscious" mind, as a part of one's awareness of life, the free thinking thoughts, for which, mostly turn to actions. The "conscience" that we humans use to tell the difference between what's right and what's wrong is a completely different subject. However, they are both connected to one another. ;) Thank you for your honesty and respectful comment. Much appreciated. :)

Thank you Str8up Hookups. I'm not going to agree with you on your statement, even though it seems like you're trying to agree with the Hub. Not everyone knows truth, because if people did, then there would not be so many irrational people among those who are rational through a conscious mind. It takes a conscious mind to realize that point where one is not being honest with themselves above all else.
The statement "we all know our truths" is where I disagree. As I stated above. There are simply some people who refuse to be honest with themselves. This is caused from a lack of knowledge on their part or a path I recognize as "chosen ignorance". Thank you very much for reading and commenting. Great hub Casgil. Self awareness and truth are fundamental to personal growth. Only with self awareness and truth can we see through blocks and move forward into living our potential. Change your perspective and you'll change your life.
Knowing one's "self" is key to happiness. The more you know "self", the more you experience joy, good health, fullfillment and overall success in life.
And you are right there is truth in everything. Many people run away from the truth because it reveals something about "self" that they don't want to know.

Great hub and as usual straight to the point. I wish more people were truthful to themselves and others. What does it really cost to simply tell the truth?
It's better to be respected by most and liked by a few than the other way around.

The truth, many people rather not be concerned with is because they are so used/accustom to telling "white" lies, so what is truth is blurred or distorted in some way. This looks like you are using words like
"conscious mind" "choosen ignorance" "truth" to tip-toe your way around the very point I think you were trying to make
I say this becase you have not told me what is "truth"
is it true that fossils exsits yes I can see them
is the math behind radioactive dating true yes BUT there are many variables that can effect the outcome
Are we so superior to thoose acient writers that we say they are making up creatures such as dragons and sea monsters
And I have heard of all the "reasonable" explanations that we spit out but it is basicaly say we KNOW and They were IGNORANT
I see it as a cop out just to end with Ignorant
we find volidity in people claiming they were abducted by aliens but our ancestors are ignorant
I would like to be around in a thousand years to see all theese true idea to be as true as the world being flat
My point, that theories are just some ones ideas
and even though you have all kinds of research and studies are behind it, it is still just an idea

I'm not exactly sure what you do not understand, since you've stated that I've used certain words, to "tip-toe" around what I was "trying?" to say. I said what was needed to be said and the fact that you cannot understand "truth" isn't my fault. Truth was explained, in this hub and several others I've written. Were our ancestors "Ignorant"? Yes, they were, but not much different than many today. However, through delicate and determination to find truth, the conscious mind is the difference. As for "chosen ignorance", it happens to be the one problem that continues to plague society/humanity as a whole. Why? Because, people refuse to recognize it happens.
Yes, something are theories, and at the most basic level are ideas, but when dealing with reality and learning knowable knowledge available, not only do the ideas come alive, but the theories become real. Again, thank you. ;)
well I will have to read a few more of your hub to find the infamous "truth"
but from reading the few of your hub that I have I would doubt that I will find anyting but more cliche words defining a inner awareness that is writen in some kind of furtune cookie psycho babble
And I guess That was my major before we were set for deployment to Iraq (psychology)
but I do enjoy reading your post And I would say that we are far more "ignorant" than our ancestors we just "think" we know all
I use "WE" because I dont exclude myself But I think You (Cagsil) do exclude yourself or at least put yourself on a higher plain than most to all

Hey Vinnylee, I found your above comment interesting. The Conscious Mind is aware of everything about oneself. The "truth" you are looking for is in the rational and logic of what it presented. I'm no better than anyone else and if I come across in that manner, then you have to remember that it could be your perception that is wrong. I am not trying to force anyone into something that which isn't good or healthy for them. I'm glad you have a major in psychology, for which, it is something I do not have. Nor am I educated in any manner of philosophy either.
I'm not sure if I should be insulted or not, from your final statement that I put myself on a higher plain than most to all. It's not about me and never has been about me. It's about each and every person on the planet, understanding Life. Many rather not wrap their mind around the idea known as life, because they have always been told that it's too complex. Which isn't actually true. Is there a Universal truth for everyone? Sure, when you throw away the distortion, misconceptions and lies, which are perpetuated by those who have the means.

And, yes there are times when I am ignorant, but I am also always minding myself, so as to prevent my ego from getting in my way of learning more. When I am wrong, I have no fear to admit it, which unlike many others, who refuse to admit when they don't truly have the answers. They only think they do, but when faced with rationale and logic, refuse to admit what they think is actually incorrect. Why? Ego, Pride, Dishonesty and a variety of other things. As for writing like a fortune cookie? Well, I'm not sure many others would agree, considering many do and can relate to the understanding message written. I do appreciate you reading and responding. Well said, well articulated. Truth, perspective come from reflection and raised awareness ... But not everything happens consciously... the subconscious mind can play tricks, motivated by forces past and present... raised awareness helps to be more 'conscious' of the 'subconscious' as much as we possibly can. I must admit I ran across your name in a forum. I did not like your comment and yes I was a wee bit peeved, no more than a wee bit ticked. So I checked you out. When I saw you were also a Bostonian, I became less irritated but now that I have read a second hub, I do like the way you think, express yourself and say it like it is. HMMM. You know I was supposed to stay miffed!
