You do not have to believe what you find in this hub, but I would like to give you a heads up warning that should you not, then do not be surprised to hear it later. America- A Nation In Serious Trouble is about how wrong the general public has been led to believe something that is simply not true. Is America In Serious Trouble....?
You better believe it! America is like waterfall of red ink, so much so, that if the problem is not corrected soon, you will find life in America, extremely difficult. How difficult? Well, I'll answer that later on, but for now, do realize America could find itself without money to operate it's national government, which protects the entire nation, not only from domestic threats, but foreign threats as well.
Is that an exaggeration.....
It could be an exaggeration, but not likely, if left unchecked by the general public. Some people want you to believe "America is in a recovery mode", but the truth of the matter is that it never was able to recover from the recessionary period that it was going through. What did recover was the Economy of certain areas. That's it. Nothing more.
What happened in 2008 was not the normal "crash", as people have been led to believe, because not only one or two sectors of the Economy failed to produce results. It was a broad base failure of the entire structured Economy. Every sector took a hit, because of the financial collapse of "Wall Street" and the Exchanges.
Is this a joke?
This isn't a joke, but a reality of what happened. The people in Washington, D.C. would have you believe that by simply stimulating the Economy or injecting money into the Businesses that make up the Economy, would bring America out of the recessionary period. What they failed to tell the public is that it has been tried before and failed, at least a hundred times before. And, not once has it ever worked.
To be completely forthright about the situation, I would like you to realize that you have been lied to, since before you were ever born. That meaning, that your parents were lied to, before you were born and your parents unknowingly perpetuated forth the same lies that were handed down to them from their parents. This does not apply to all parents, but a very high portion of them.
The problem that many people are not aware of- the "barter/trade" Economy is subjected to slowing periods. The slowing periods are mis-handled by government ever since it's inception. I addressed this problem in the hub "Degeneration of Value- America's Money".
The secondary problem....
Yes, believe it or not, there are compounding problems. The secondary problem stems from a lack of knowledge of the citizens who live in The United States of America. What lack of knowledge? America's money supply is false. It does not make money and never has made money.
The United States of America is a nation, which up till the 1900s, lived and grew, off the revenue it generated. That means, the money that government collected from citizens was used to grow America, in all facets. It wasn't until the early part of the 1900s did this become no longer feasible. Hence, the creation of "The Federal Reserve Bank". Who owns the Federal Reserve Bank? The upper 1% of the World Banks, control/own and operate it.
The Federal Reserve Bank, appears to be operated by the United States Government, which is a cleverly disguised plan of manipulation and deceit by politicians, who are no longer alive, but who failed in their task as political officials of operating America properly. The Federal Reserve Bank was created, so America's government could draw or create money, whenever needed, to stimulate the Economy, which was the same old routine that has been going on for the past 200+ years.
What knowledge is lacking....?
What knowledge is lacking...? That would be a great question, and I'm sure no politician would ever give you a straight answer, in the hopes that you would buy into their misconception about having a solution for fixing the Economy.
However, I am going to go out on a limb here and tell you the truth. The citizens lack the knowledge of "how to" use the Economy. Yes, you probably did not know that you are suppose to use the Economy, to gain benefits and reap rewards. The politicians would like you to believe that it is your obligation to go out and get a job, and leave the Economy to them to handle.
But, anyone with a good solid understanding of history, especially America's History, then you would have figured out that the best way to live and thrive in America, is not via a job. It is to be a business owner or to be self-employed doing some type of "trade" work, where you can set your own hours, set your own pay and have the freedom most people only dream about.
Is this some sort of gimmick?
Is this some sort of gimmick? What are you trying to sell me? To be completely honest, like I normally am with people....there is no gimmick and I'm not trying to sell you anything. I do however want you to come to a self-realization that you were lied to and then get over it, as quickly as possible.
You see, your lack of knowledge in this one specific area is the main problem with the Economy. There are not enough self-employed people, who are either running some type of trade work or operating small to medium size, mom and pop businesses. There are two main reasons for that, and one of them you just learned. But, the second one boils down to greed and I'll show you how I have come to that conclusion.
Greed, the misunderstanding of two things- (a) the power of money and (b) respect money deserves. Those who are greedy are the ones who are running the "BIG" Conglomerates, known as Wal-Mart and the like. They do not want you to strike out on your own or even come close to being able to survive. Why? Because, then they will be forced to buy up your company, should you start one, so as to keep you away from their market share.
You do not have to grow a huge business...
One of the misconceptions people believe, for which, I have not written about as of yet, is being a business owner and how "huge" your company should be. However, one of the problem is that people do not want to own a business or even be self-employed. They do not want the responsibility that comes with either. Hence, a huge jobless problem.
The main reason why people would rather not is because government and politicians have made it disguised it as a bad thing, so people are less encouraged to do it. They(politicians) have made it their mission to misguide the general public to prevent people from becoming independent. Why? Control. Plain and simple.
You do not have to grow a huge business, but you should want to grow a steady business. A business that has some type of growth, so you never become content. Why is being content a bad thing? Because, as I have stated in "Education Article: Stagnation versus Fluidity", I point out that becoming stagnant is detrimental to your physical, emotional and mental health. Once you become stagnant, then you will not want to self-improve. Thus, you learn nothing about moving forward and maintaining your happiness.
The Economy's slowing period.....
The Economy's slowing period happens to be related to the fact that people are spending less money, which results in lower profit/earnings of businesses within the Economy system.
How to fix the problem? Increase the number of smaller to medium size businesses, so as to ensure that the slowing period has less of an effect on the overall Economy. The problem with doing this is that it increases competition in the marketplace and forces "big" businesses to remain competitive, which in today's Economy is not the case.
Many "big" conglomerates continue to eat up the smaller and medium size businesses, so they can continue to dominate the marketplace with less competition. Thus, they can charge whatever prices they want to and the general public has no choice but to pay it. This sort of tactic is killing the Economy and stunting the growth, all the while, destroying people's lives.
The deceitful politicians help support "big" business....
Unfortunately, the politicians help support "big" business, completely in the face of the general public, but because the general public lacks the knowledge to understand what is exactly happening, it is allowed to continue.
Every citizen in America knows that "big" business continues to maintain a stranglehold on the Economy and Congress, by feeding the corrupt politicians in office. How do they feed them? By taking advantage of their greedy nature.
It has become more than obvious that politicians do the bidding of Business over the general public, and it can be seen even more, if you only look at the Educational system within America. Thus, creating more illiterate citizens, who are dumbed down because they lack the knowledge they truly need to live their life. What most people do not realize is that it is happening.
Urgent...
I have an urgent request.....do not let these problems continue. You, just like your fellow citizens, can make the change that "big" businesses do not want changed. You can do it in two ways- (a) learn more about your duty as a citizen and (b) learn more about how to apply what you know(are skilled at), experienced in doing, so as to improve your life.
Become more involved in active politics. And, no that does not mean you have to become a politician, but as a dutiful citizen of The United States of America, you can hold accountable those who are in office, by becoming more aware of what manipulation tactics are used to keep you down. Again, this isn't a joke and happens to be extremely important to the survival of, not only yourself, but the entire nation. Please do take it to heart and increase your awareness of the many misconceptions that business and politicians use to control you.
To answer the unanswered question from earlier- How difficult will life get in America? Well, to be honest, prices will be so outrageous, at least 70% of the population will not be able to afford common things needed, such as Electricity, Gas and even Food. Thus, more people will become homeless and dependent on government assistance. At which time, America will move from a Capitalism society, to a completely Communistic/Socialistic society, without choices.

Hey Dobson, this entire situation has been a accumulation mess of the past and present spending. It's ridiculous and if people are not careful, then they are truly going to not believe what is going to become of America, should America completely collapse in the currency markets. If America's debt is too much, then it's going to become very, if not extremely difficult to live. Other alternatives will have to be seeked out or found, and those who do not want to get into business are going to be forced to make their own or create their own food out of necessity. It's criminal that so many people are too lazy or afraid to step up to the plate, and find out what's really going on. They don't realize that their indifference is costing them their very livlihood and America's solvency. They don't want to think about stuff like that..leave it to someone more "knowledgable"!
They need to understand that it's their responsibility to make the economy work, not the government's.
Nice hub Cagsil. btw..your use of the word "forthwith" is incorrect in this context. I think what you mean is "forthright"...meaning straight-forward, decisive. Whereas forthwith means immediately, without delay. Just so's ya know.

And, you're right that there are simply too many people not being self-responsible about their actions and it is costing everyone else is who being responsible. The fact that too many people refuse to take action is a sad thing and presents a huge problem for America's solvency. Hi Cagsil, I was just talking about this the other day with my old boss. He asked me when I was going to find another job. I told him I don't want to, I want to work, but not for someone else, for myself. I agree with you that the economy can't get better this way, we do need to step up to the plate, become conscious, and make the tough decisions. Living on imaginary money isn't working, it never has.
Hey Faybe Bay, WOW! It's great to see you again. LOL! The biggest problem in America is that there are not enough people doing for themselves(i.e. working for themselves, self employed). I can only point out what politicians don't want people to know, because they(politicians) rather keep it under wraps so as to control people. This is no longer a viable system and that control needs to be less restrictive. Imaginary money? LOL! It's an interesting way of putting, but more or less that is what the Federal Reserve Bank is making. Not to mention, just stop and think about it for a second, then you'll also realize that is exactly what "Wall Street" does too. Shifting paper around and transferring electronic money? Half the people working on Wall Street cannot even explain what it is that they do, so as to explain it to the average person, so they can grasp it. It's ridiculous. It is the same the world over. At least it is here in the UK. Where does the money go when a recession hits and stock markets fall. Well, that is not quite the right question. perhaps, where had the money gone?, would be better. It is all electronic now. Mirrors and veils. It is a neat trick to disappear money and then say we need more taxes or less expenditure from the masses (to shore up the expenses of the rich).
Hey Humagaia, as I said in my other comment on my other hub that you left a comment on, I'm not exactly sure what is going on outside America, because I'm so focused on getting things changed here. What is happening to the money? Well, it is obviously lining the pockets of the rich, and lately you hear about the "rich" donating their fortunes to charity. Did you know that's nothing more than a gimmick here in the U.S.? Because, of the tax deduction that they are given because of their donations. I once read a survey done on the TOP 200 Charities in America....the survey was to test the regulatory commission and the people who regulate these companies...but the results were unbelievable, to say the least. Not a single company on the entire list, made the threshold of the U.S. Federal Regulations- None! In that same year Bill Gates donated 7,000,000,00.00 dollars to his and his wife's foundation for Cancer Research- the company used less than 1% of the total revenue. So where did the money go? LOL! America's politicians have been manipulating and perpetuating many misconceptions for their own greedy nature, instead of looking out for the citizens like they were supposed to. And, that's a pathetic shame. YES, it is about time that more and more people OPENED THEIR EYES and WAKE UP to the fact that all they are pawns under someone's control. This recession is far from over, the major economies of this world are still trying to spend more than they earn, this can't go on for ever..
This is not going to be a double dip, more of a double crash and the next will be far worse in my estimation..
Hey LeanMan, I know it is far from over, but in America, the politicians are claiming recovery, even a slow one, and to me that's a direct lie to the public, because of the cost of things and other things. Like I said in the hub, when it happens, it's going to be harder and then the people are going to find it difficult. So, I have to agree, the next crash is going to severely hurt. Hey Cagsil, This is a great hub! My husband and I was talking about how bad things are getting here in America and it's going to get worse if the people don't open their eyes. Like you said, a times coming that people won't be able to pay for just the essentials of daily life.

And, yes things are not as rosy as Washington would like them to be and the people are about to come face to face with what might seem like a complete depression of the Economy. At that time, things are going to be really difficult to buy, including things that are essential to daily living. America's Economy crashes yet again, and the currency gets obliterated so badly, that a new currency has to be created...then all citizens are in for serious hard times. Just look at Greece, they had other natins to bail them out. But who will be there to bail us out.
I agree with getting involved to push the liberal spenders out. It's the only real hope we have. Obama's hope and change is to put us as a nation in the worst economic position we could possibly be in. Federal entitlements going broke and yet they add an even bigger one.

Hey Shark, it's more than just Obama. A lot of things in America need serious changing, and the first priority is citizen awareness on the individual level. More people need to become more independent and caring for others. It has to start with the citizens. Ray Susan Davis my local congresswoman knows me way better then she wants and cannot stand me because I raise hell with her office and dim witted staff all the time. And there is a book called " The Creature from Jekyll Island " by E Howard Griffin that talks all about the genesis of the Federal Reserve the worst thing that ever happened to America. You can thank Woodrow Wilson for that ! But indeed this is a tough time and no matter what side of the aisle you vote on they have all been bought and paid for and this problem was long before Bush and Obama. Eisenhower even warned us !

These politicians have been continuing to damage society for their own greedy nature and it's about time for individual awareness to increase so much so, that they begin to fear the public. I'm serious, I am going to start campaigning to change America's National Motto to...Stupid is as Stupid does. It has gotten to the point that the stupid people in control of education have decided the best way to improve the general knowlegde of our graduating classes is to hide more facts from them. Remember when Texas Christian Conservative School Board voted to change what student actually learn about our history? If they never learn the truth you don't have to deal with intelligent thoughts interferring with the fantasy world you reside in. Fewer and fewer students are graduating with the ability to do basic math, to spell, or to read above a sixth grade level. It is a cake walk to confuse them about the economy and government. This is why we got no child left behind. Rather than improve the scores of all students, they lowered the requirements to allow more to pass. They transfered thousands of students into night programs and claimed the increased percentage of graduating day students as proof of success. The stupies bought it and still applaud it.
The root of most of the problems we face in America today can be traced to the declining educational system we have accepted. We are going back to the days when the smartest people around will be those who educated themselves. With what passes for an education today, it may already be an accurate statement.
Hey Stump, I'm glad to see you came and checked out my hub. The Education system in the country is splintering into smaller sections. Specialty schools are popping up all over the area, and across the country. The religious tripe being offered as though it's a view is not to be censored, as Misha pointed out in the forums. However, teaching children lies only perpetuates the lies. It does not indeed make them fact.
It would be nice if the schools only dealt with facts, but in some cases, teachers input their own theories, which distorts facts. It is one reason why most Americans do not believe in facts. It appears that many people don't believe in truth, such as a universal truth, so everyone can live in harmony. I contribute this to ego problem, more than anything else.
Those who perpetuate forth the illusion or disillusionment of religion onto children, shows that these people haven't a clue. Thank you very much for reading and comment. Much appreciated. :)

It isn't an illusion, but the fact that you see it as an illusion, just demonstrates the power of the distortion and misinformation, being spread around to the rest of society. Many citizens(Americans) need to wake up and learn more. The educational system has been a dominate process that has mislead the people into thinking things which are just not true. That may appear as an illusion, but lies are not illusion, but are misdirection and not truth. Thank you again.

The way we receive information has become polluted, our forms of communication can easily be monitored and even systematically tagged as harmful or dangerous (keyword research, right?) and our general drive and motivation as a country is pretty pathetic.
To make matters worse, lashing out at our current government has it's own automatic defense system that comes in the form of some middle-aged to Americans that were brought up in such a way. The lies are nothing new and it's gotten to a point that you feel as if it is entirely over your head.
A solution seems difficult and painful, but something can still be done.
I will definitely be following you and checking out a few of your other articles, glad I ran into you in the forums.
The school system in Minnesota was shut down for a little over half a month not too long ago. Just about everything in the city ceased to exist - only thing that remained was the police and the firefighters. I stumbled across the news, but I feel as if I might have never even known that happened if I had not found the information somewhere on the internet as I did. Sectioning off areas of the country is something that I think will come of extreme value to American government, and with all of Google's cookies combined with Facebook, twitter, etc. it would be pretty realistic to assume they already have each and every one of us categorized by location, if not threat/awareness levels.

The government and corporations continue to carve up America into smaller sections and a prime example is what happened in Minnesota. That is an atrocity that politicians had to shutdown the state. It's absurd. I read the article online about it also and was discussing it with my mother, and she found it appalling.
I'm of the understanding that it's time to put a buffer between government and citizens. One business, which is on behalf of the citizens individual rights and can keep politicians in check via citizen power. Which is one of the main reason I created CAGSIL, a home-based advocate services business. It's all about getting people to increase their awareness about the actions of government and corporations. Stop tough on crime policies, use that money in a more wisely manner. Stop credit card interest on the interest, make this practice illegal, only interest on actual purchase. And limit interest card companies can charge to no more than 10% over prime lending rate
Do these two things and WATCH the economy grow and prosper.

Cagsil - I share you dire view of our future. The economic crisis we faced and are riding through right now is nothing like what will happen when our national debt begins to implode on us. It is true the United States of America has held debt since its inception, but this current binge of deficit spending has tipped the scales in an apocalyptic way. We cannot continue to ignore this problem, choosing to leave it to the next occupants of the White House, House of Representatives and Senate.
The average American is already paying the price for this reckless way of governing as the economy is not bouncing back because the freedom of being able to target spending in areas that will drive the economy is gone.
I am glad to read this and compliment you on your very pertinent subject. GREAT WORK!
