Is American Liberty, Rights and Freedom An Illusion?
78Civil Rights Basic American Freedom!
American Freedom, Liberty, Rights....Is It All Just An Illusion?
Welcome reader,
It's already been consider and rejected. The initial thought of American Freedom. Therefore, it has been assessed that it is nothing more than an illusion perpetuated forward by politicians. The reason it has been rejected is simply due to too much political corruption within government. Sure, if you talk to the average person, you will hear them talk about human rights and the civil rights afforded to the citizens via the U.S. Constitution, such as Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom From Religion, the Right to Bear Arms and a few other civil rights.
What most people do not realize is that government is taking away the basic human rights of citizens and forcing them to do things, for which, shouldn't be happening. The protection of human rights, not only civil rights, is very important. Hence, the hub to create more awareness.
As an up and coming advocate of civil rights...
As an up and coming advocate of civil rights, I would like to give you a basic understanding, of the image, for which, is the basis of your rights.
To begin, your individual civil rights and human rights, occur because you are a human being or a citizen of humanity. Also, you are a United States of America citizen.
Thus, you have two basic fundamental civil rights and human rights, that which protects you wherever you go, no matter where you are on the planet. Those two fundamental rights - (a) Right to Life and (b) Right to Choice or Right to Choose.
A government agency has to follow the same basic principals as the citizens do, when it comes to these two fundamental civil rights and human rights. They are NOT to infringe upon these two civil rights or human rights. It does not matter, what purpose is given.
Government is to learn it's place....
Government leaders, including every politician that holds an office is to know their place. They are not to get involved in the citizen's life, unless it's detrimental to the collective of society. There are plenty of Law(s) in place that are absurd and only in place for control.
The simple fact- a hard truth- the irresponsible nature of people is what has led government's over-stepping their boundaries and invading many citizens' life. Many Law(s) that were created, were implemented to prevent something from happening, however, those same Law(s) are still in place, when they should no longer be in place. Example: Jaywalking, being just one Law(s) still presently in existence and the obvious truth is that it is completely unenforceable nor can it be equally enforced.
Government's priority is for the sole protection against foreign
threats, which means that they protect your individual civil rights and
fundamental human rights, whenever you are abroad. They are also to
protect United States Citizens against dangerous threats coming into
America. Government's other priority is to handle domestic threats to the livelihood people living within each community. This is a must until society can prove it's worthy of not having the Law(s) in place. It is unfortunate, but required.
America built on deceit and lies......
When you stop and think about America's history and how America was actually built, it shows you that America was built on deceitfulness and a huge bunch of lies, all perpetuated by every politician that has ever held an office.
In the beginning, America was built to be a republic, where politicians were voted into office, so as to form a more perfect union between government and citizens. Originally, the system was completely biased to "whites only" mentality and women had no power whatsoever also. Thus, the politicians could only be white men. How deceitful is that?
Well, as the years moved along, civil rights and basic human rights evolved. Discrimination was supposedly to be wiped out, yet those of the religious circles continued to perpetuate forth the myth from religion that men are better than women. Even with equal and civil rights for women, the women were still not allowed to do specific things, such as serve in the Military or hold a political office. That eventually changed by demand of the citizens.
Slavery.......? Did it ever truly end?
If you talk to some people, they will tell you civil rights and even human rights, still did nothing against slavery in America. Some landowners and slave owners refused to abide by the Law(s). How could they get away with it? Wealth and Power. Nothing more, nothing less.
However, in the 1960's, a gentleman came forth, and wanted to see an equal society for all. His name was Martin Luther King Jr. and his mark remains on America, and will forever be a reminder of the racial hatred in America. When you look at society, if slavery was still a part of society, then you would likely to not see so much homelessness, because the homeless would end up slaves.
By which, if you ask some of the homeless people about their civil rights and human rights, they would most likely tell you- "Are you kidding?"
Did it truly end....?
Well, when you look at the ending of slavery, and then look at the resources government had to use to ensure that the Economic future of America was not in jeopardy, then you can see that the government installed an "Employment" program and then it became Law(s).
As did the "Minimum Wage" program and it also became a Law(s). But, when you look at each of the 50 States in the Union, you can see a distinction between "Federal(government)" minimum wage and what States "minimum wage" Law(s) are for employers. Seriously, take a close look at some States, you will find that some of them are not conforming to "Federal" minimum wage and they do not have to do so.
Why not? Because, States rights. And, people wonder why certain States are utilized by certain companies for the manufacturing of products or distribution of goods, because the cost of wages are less. So, you will see that some places are empty and others are full. But, when you look at wages...it begs to ask....is the "Employment" program and "Minimum" wage program, which are now Law(s)....just a disguise for slavery? You ponder that.
In the early years of America.....schooling
In the early years of America, long before it became a Nation, there were very few schools and most children were actually home-schooled. Some local community schools were in existence and many children grew up illiterate and no access to learning tools.
Today in America, there are plenty of people who have the insane belief that an education is an individual civil right and a basic human right. That is simply a false ideology. No one has a right to an education, but it is in the best interest of the Nation, for local communities to continue the tradition started centuries ago.
Why is in their best interests? Well, if the students are properly taught the basic fundamental that they need to live, then they can be a very productive part of the workforce. Again, if they have no access to the learning they need, then society will suffer and so with the rest of the nation, as a whole. Yet, a recent report came to light.....and it showed that only 16% of government spending was going toward education versus 50%+ was being used for military.
Books on Rights
Advocate groups, special interest groups and civil rights protectors?
In America, there are plenty of different advocate groups. You could probably name on group for almost anything, if you really tried hard enough. Some of these groups battle against the special interest groups, which employ thousands of lobbyists in Washington, D.C., so as to forced politicians into siding on their argument.
The Civil Rights protectors, are a bunch of losers. The A.C.L.U. or American Civil Liberties Union, happens to be an organization that has it's own agenda, and protecting consumers or citizens, is not always in it's best interest.
So, that makes one wonder... Who is actually protecting citizens? Hence, one reason for the developing of CAGSIL, which is in it's final stages. You can see throughout many of other hubs, one priority is to improve people's life. One problem being addressed is homelessness.
The Illusion by Politicians....
The illusion by politicians....freedom to buy things, freedom to live where you want, all myths perpetuated by politicians. You are not free to buy what you want, but are forced into buying things, even if you cannot afford them. You are not free to live where you want, because you lack the knowledge of what you can actually do about living some place.
The government, operated by politicians, force you to buy health care, they force you to buy car insurance(by laws) and they force you to buy social security benefits even if you have no need for them.
They force you to abide by laws not voted on by the voters or general public. Example: the no smoking law(s) in effect, where brought on by circumventing public voters, via the department of health. The department of health forced businesses to conform to it's law(s) without ever giving the public a chance to vote on the law(s). Why? Because, there are more smokers than non-smokers and knew in advance if the public was given a chance to vote on it, then the law(s) would never make it. That's deceitful, tyrant action and just one example.
Civil Rights and U.S. Constitution Under Attack...
Every person's civil rights and even the U.S. Constitution is under attack and has been ever since the inception of each. Taking away citizens in a deceitful nature, such as increasing security, so as to invade people's personal lives and do so under the guise of more safety.
So, that begs to ask.....When are you, the individual, going to finally realize when enough is finally enough? When are you going to stand up for your right to life and right to choose, instead of letting them dictate what you can do, where you can do it, how you live and using illusions as a way to tell you "why it must happen?"
Stand up, make your voice heard and use your citizenship as it was meant to be used. If you're not sure about your citizenship and the rights afforded, then GET Informed!
Thank you very much for your time.

I always enjoy reading your hubs. Your passion is really felt. The thing that frustrates me the most is the homelessness in our country. Thank you for this hub.
I am glad that I live in a free country like Saudi Arabia where I can appreciate the freedoms that I have. I don't think I could manage to stand the oppression there in the states..
Great Hub Cagsil.
What do you think of the mind control being exercised through the psychology profession? Over half the country takes drugs to make them think they are happy - if you think you are happy you will not cause problems or try to change things. I think this is a serious issue that is completely ignored.
I'm all for anything that makes you feel better, whether it's legal pharmacopia or not. We should be allowed that freedom to choose and not to choose.
As a person who is on antidepressants, I choose them be because the alternative is worse than the world you describe here. Depression and anxiety are hell, and your whole argument of caring about politicians and business goes out the door. I stop caring altogether, about myself, job, and the political/economic situation only adds fuel to that anxiety, which in turn does its deed to fuel the depression. So I choose not to be depressed. I choose to get my mind right so that I can then choose to fight for my rights and care.
A new civil rights push is coming. It is about taking our rights back. No laws needed. The paternalism of government has got to stop. For a good read, I choose: Ain't No Body's Business if You Do by Peter McWilliams: http://www.mcwilliams.com/books/aint/toc.htm
It's a great read, and I if you haven't read it already, you will probably find how much in common most American's beliefs are in relation to the absurdity of consensual crimes in our Free country.
I'm thinking that the U.S. population is sooo dumbed down that the most of us don't understand what our inalienable rights are. I have been told that parenting one's own children is not found in the constitution. Oh really? What about marriage? Not in the constitution? Marriage is not a right to free exercise of religion? OOH MY Goooodness! Tell me that people don't really think this way. Does the Govt. really grant these rights? Since when?
Thanks for bringing up the issue or rights and freedom, Cagsil.

Wow. The 16% to 50% nomanclature regarding education funding vs. military funding is staggering at best. Politicians have mastered the skills of hearding the human species in a direction which suits the upper class needs and desires. It is a shameful task to claim allegiance to the people and kneel in prayer to oneself...
Great hub addressing the illusions we have about American Freedoms.
