Britney Spears, as a child, went through dance classes. She was excellent in gymnastics.

She loved singing and at 8 years of age, Britney tried to get a part on The All New Mickey Mouse Club. Britney did not make it, due to her age.

At 11 years of age, she tried again for The All New Mickey Mouse Club and made it. Her big break was after she was signed by Jive Recording Artist. With a release of her album, Baby One More Time, Britney became an international success, selling well over 10 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million of her album, Oops!...I Did It Again.

At 18 years old, Britney came out(released) her second album in 2000, the #1 smash "Oops! I did it again" and single of the same title, maintaining atop the singles chart for 5 consecutive weeks. There were some people who were not happy with whatever message Britney brought forth or was sending to young children.

On one side, Britney Spears was a picture of "innocence", even going as far to declare herself a Virgin until she is married. Britney also sexually charged her performing by wearing scantily-clad clothing of a provocative nature.

While she may have been on down from the highs of her career, she was by no means staying out of the media, who constantly hounded her her relentlessly. The media, want even more from her down and to find out what she was up to. However, she seemed to get herself back together for her new album released in late 2003. She continues to produce music.
