Women Writers In HubPages Community
83
Greetings Viewer,
The hub you came to is a Valentine's Day Dedication to the Women Writers of HubPages Community. I have taken the effort to present a unique experience for those who come across my hub.
There is 86 Ladies in all, with a small picture of themselves. At the end, you will find a link to see the rest. On this hub, there is only 45 Women Writers.
There are many Hubbers in the HubPages Community, who use other pictures as their avatar on their profiles, instead of their picture. However, you get a unique experience in seeing them first hand. Their profile/bio have been made available and a link to their hub. Some of the profile/bios you find on this hub are also unique, because there is information, you will not likely find on their profile hub.
They were gracious enough to give permission, a photograph, a biography and a link, so you can visit and see what they each write about. Should you want to follow a writer? Then you will need to join HubPages and become a Community member yourself. You can, by pressing the "join" button, at the top of the page. There are literally thousands of writers at HubPages, but a special handful spend time in the forums on a consistent basis.
Some spend all day in the forums. Some spend time, after they get home from their job or work. They each give up a piece of themselves(ideas, thoughts, feelings and experiences) in their writing and share it with the world. Some use HubPages as an outlet for making sales on Ebay or Amazon or Both. On average hubs I read, usually help better and/or improve people's life. These Ladies are compassionate, talented, and support for community, unlike any community I have ever been a part of, anywhere.
I truly hope you enjoy the Women Writers - HubPages Community has within it.
*** Lady Hubbers- I Hope You Have a Wonderful Valentine's Day!!! ***
Yours truly - Raymond Choiniere II, Cagsil.

I am happily married for 30 years to the same man (my high school sweetheart!) and have two boys who have grown into pretty awesome young men. I like my job; I love my extended family and have a wide circle of friends. I know, it sounds like a fairy tale, but it is TRUE. I count myself very blessed in my life, my love, my family.
I am a writer, and as a writer, I have The Great Canadian Novel in the works – currently on chapter 10. If you are a "writer", say so, and I invite you to join us. It's one of the best social websites I have seen and offers opportunity to generate revenue.

Another hubber told me about Hubpages and I have made many friends here. I am still learning how to write and how to make my pages look pleasing to the eye. Someday it will all click! Other than writing hubpages, I am married to a wonderful husband who is a member of the Knight's Of Columbus and Is also in the Patriotic of same Organization. We are all a close knit family, have two grown daughters and a new grandson. I enjoy meeting new people and cultures around the world and making friends.
My other passions are: Sewing, Homemaking and Animal Husbandry are a couple of things I like. I also have a few medical articles that I wrote to teach others about Head Trauma and Brain Injury, Mental Illnesses and Demons, Rosacea and what DVT's are. I am many things, a Mother, Wife, Housewife, Universal Life Church Minister (Reverend Debbie All), Writer, Seamstress, Gardener and Advocate for Animals. You can call me a Jacktress of All Trades and Cybrarian. Oh and I am a grandmother! The picture is me holding my first grandson. If that is not suitable I will put up my original.

Did you hear about the woman in Oregon who had four kids of her own, fourteen foster kids, two large dogs, three cats and a man? She sold everything they didn't need, kicked out the big kids, packed up the small ones with the dogs, cats and the man, and moved to Alaska and lived in a tent! I am she, and now I spend my days writing about my experiences and taking photos of alot of it.
Now the small kids are grown and I help with their college homework while I take care of every single thing for them. When they fly the nest, I'm not sure what I'll do, but you can bet I'll write about it and share with you. I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing it!

Mother of two boys, 40 something 'Rock Chick', married. OU Diploma in Health and Social Welfare, qualifications in Psychology and certificate in further education. This doesn't compare with the wealth of experience taken from the beautiful patients that I take when volunteering with the Red Cross.
My philosophy: 'Life is For Living!'
I love to keep everyone up to date on facebook and twitter. The internet is a brilliant way to keep in touch. If you want to know more about me. Check my darker side with my fondness for music on Myspace.

I have worked at some small companies as an Administrative Assistant, but I have also spent a lot of time in very large companies, such as GE Capital and The Stanley Works, as an Executive Assistant. Much of my writing background is in the form of business communication.
I have lived, to put it mildly, a very exciting life. There have been times when my life seemed very enchanted, however there were also many times when it was almost too frightful to go on. As I stated above, I have been married 3 times. I have also been divorced 3 times. Yet, due to the wonderful children I have, I can honestly say that I have no regrets in that area…except possibly the 3rd marriage (that still remains a "what was I thinking?" part of my life.)
We spent, on average, about 3 years in each place that we moved to, after returning from Europe. My parents divorced when I was 13, at which point we were living in Haverhill, MA. That was the beginning of what turned into a 30 year roller coaster ride for me.
I met, the man who would become, my second husband. He was from Connecticut, therefore I moved to Stamford, CT to live with him. I spent several years there, until I got tired of the big city, then we purchased a beautiful home in Prospect, CT (out in the country.) I had my 3rd child (James) with him. Aside from what was turning into a serious case of Anxiety/Panic Disorder, I believed that my life was perfect. That only lasted a couple of years.
I met my 3rd husband at one of those events, in fact, it turned out that we both worked for the same company. We were married shortly after we met, and I still believe that I truly thought I had nowhere else to turn at that point. He hated my children and did everything in his power to make them miserable. I loved my children, but I was an alcoholic, the only thing I could think to do (to keep them apart) was stay out with him (all of the time) and drink.
We decided to move to New Hampshire in 2002. I wanted to be closer to my family and he wanted to experience someplace different. The change of locations did nothing to remedy my situation, in fact things only escalated from then on.
All of my actions throughout my life had put a huge strain on my relationships with my mother and my sisters. In the past 3 years we have been doing nothing but playing catch up and making up for all of the lost time. I’ve also been spending as much time as I can spare with my 2 beautiful granddaughters, Ashlynn and Shelby. But throughout this whole healing process, which I am enjoying immensely, the one thing I keep hearing is that I should be writing. I’ve always been a story teller.
As an adult, I have learned that the easiest, and most natural, way for me to deal with life’s struggles is with humor. I am always relaying my stories to my friends and family in a funny/sarcastic manner. I have been extremely content with my life since I became sober 3 years ago, but I know now that I have found what I truly want to do….WRITE. I want to be able to entertain people, as well as educate them, move them, and make them aware. I spent 30+ years of my life thinking that I was alone with all of my problems; I would like to spend the next 30+ years letting others know that THEY are not.

Hi. I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful little girls. I was diagnosed with breast cancer just over a year ago and am finally reaching the tail end of my treatment, only a couple more minor surgeries to go - the worst is behind me!
I only recently discovered HubPages and am enjoying learning what it's all about and having the opportunity to occupy my brain, which I sometimes feel hasn't been used since I stopped working. I am also trying to earn some extra money to pay my mountain of medical bills and avoid having to go back to work until my girls are in school!

I'm just your average person - well maybe not really- I study Everything - I mean Everything - I study Real Estate, Taxes, Import/Export, Consumer Reports, and a ton of other things - the world is just such an interesting place to me and I love to learn new things - I have worked in mills, gas stations, as a secretary, cashier, resturant manager, tax preparer, caregiver, owned my own child care business, owned my own property maintenance business - I have been a model, (went to school for it) went to tax school, took 4 years of literature and gee whiz I'm still at it - I'm just like... a learning kind of person I guess - One can never be too educated.
If you like to read, write, research, or just hang out and chat I have found HubPages to be a wonderful place for all of these things and I am sure you will too!Currently I am home doing some part time writing and caring for my 85 year old mother in law who has advanced altzheimers. I'm also preparing for the upcoming tax season. Oregon, is one of only two states where we are required to be licensed and proven educated enough to prepare taxes for others - so therefore I'm in the middle of my latest tax update course should have it and one more hub finished next week sometime-I have decided to do a series on living with altzheimers -(go figure :) anyway - It will be a very informative and interesting series of hubs

Living in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina is an inspiration in itself. Nature thrives here. I make my living as a seafood market manager and write whenever I can. I earned a BA in English many years ago. In the hustle and bustle of keeping a roof over my head, I had neglected my writing until I found HubPages. The good folks here encouraged and inspired me and now I am on my way to learning to make a living doing what I love.
I am an animal lover (2 dogs, 7 cats, 2 birds), a young-at-heart history buff, a seeker of useless information, a hapless gardener and movie freak. I enjoy research of any kind and tend to be overly thorough when I do. I have travelled a lot and lived on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus for many years. I share my world with a wonderful man who lets me be me.

As a science researcher, Mama Sez is used to planning and conducting scientific studies and writing technical reports. She is a published author with a number of articles in scientific journals.
Her budding career as scientist, however, is currently put on hold so she can focus on taking care of her young kids. Having four of them, and the youngest still a baby, is quite a handful, but Mama Sez feels very blessed to have Papa Sez as reliable partner and friend in this parenting journey.
Her current situation provided opportunity for her to explore creative writing to channel her thoughts and share her experiences. She is very hopeful that this endeavor would generate significant income in the foreseeable future.

I am a simple woman, yet I have a big heart. I love to laugh and dream big...Believing in yourself, plus having courage and hope are the best attributes. I like to share ideas about anything.....and writing for me is one way to share ideas.
I love traveling and making people happy too. I believe all people have goodness in them, and that includes you! Yes I do care a lot, I like observing other culture and reading about history too and wondering about how to make this world a better place for all of us! My hubs are by-products of the experiences I had and some incites are due to reading. Keep on smiling!

I love movies. Absolutely LOVE them! To the degree that back in the 70's, when I was in high school, I managed to convince my high school to let me create a special course on film critique.
My opinions are based on many criteria, such as the acting by main characters, supporting characters, the directing, the cinematography, costuming, special effects, screenplay, translation of subtitles (for those languages I speak), etc. The opinions I give are true and honest, regardless if I happen to love a particular actor or producer, and so on. You can always be sure that my critiques of these films are genuine and to the heart. Always.
About all genres of movies and films appeal to me, so if you have a favorite or a special request that you'd love to see a review on, please feel free to contact me. In the meantime, please do enjoy my reviews and critiques to either entertain you or to use as a guide to which movies you'd want to rent or see in the theatres. My artwork to keep me and my kid from starving is at http://www.fischerfinearts.com . I hope that you can at least visit and share the joy of art. Break a leg all!

Devon Elizabeth, Sign: Leo, 5’ short, mother of 2 small kids, an artist of many mediums, aspiring writer, intuitive, moody, information junkie, possible inferiority complex, cute, seeker, artist temperament and short tempered, at times quirky (haha, that’s a nice way of saying strange), like a ray of sunshine when I’m happy, and a rain cloud when I’m anything but.
My boyfriend says I look like a lion, I’m smarter than most other people and I’m intolerant of low intelligence, and close mindedness, but doesn’t that sound a bit close minded?! Haha OH yes, I, like many profess to be, am a walking contradiction.
But, I’m not exaggerating. Interests include, astrology, aromatherapy, beauty, creating, rocks & crystals, coffee, singing, off-beat ideas/therories/philosophies, eastern culture, tattoos, magick, law of one, discovering my true nature and the nature of other selves. My current hobbies/obsessions are kundalini yoga, baby signing, belly dancing, slowly learning japanese, coconut oil and HUBPAGES.

Hello, All. I love writing, listening to music, photography, and drawing. Most of the things I write here are social issues. Sometimes I will throw in some mainstream, but most of the time I write about things that I feel passionate about.
I really love hubpages, I feel like it is a great way to express myselfI'm just your basic 40 year old Trapped in a 19 year old's body haha. I love writing more then anything in the world. Even more then I love drawing and photography. I am defiantly a night owl, and if I were brave enough I would sleep under the stars.

What can I say about myself but I'm flamboyant and as modest as a diva on the stage, yet humble to know no-one is better than any one else.I know that happiness comes from giving what you have, and not from what you try to receive.
I'm witty, sometimes on the border of lunacy, vivacious, and funny, even lazy at times but I guess that's who I am, it's my way of celebrating my life.I came from a world, so very dark, lost and empty,I never thought I'd get to share part of this one.
Whenever I start to feel down and worry about the things in my life I may never achieve, I picture that 100mile bridge I once crossed over, and that's good enough for me.

A Baby Boomer and mid-life career changer, my goal is to motivate and encourage others to overcome obstacles in life. I completed my Bachelors Degree in 2005 and left behind a twenty-five year Sales career to pursue a life-long desire to work in Mental Health.
I hold a B.A.A.S in Behavioral Science and currently work as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Advocate for individuals suffering from mental illness. It's never too late to start over. I'm a prime example!
My life drastically changed in 2004 when I faced the greatest fear of my life on a new reality show that was supposed to air on a major television network. Unfortunately, the show was never released, but my motivation has never been stronger.
"It's better to face your fear and fail than never face your fear at all".

I'm a retired teacher of British Literature, American Literature, and creative writing. Currently, I'm a successful freelance writer.
My areas of interest/expertise include animals, education, writing skills, cooking, beauty pageants, fishing, parenting, health issues, the elderly, travel, editing, and arts and crafts. I was Helium's most-selected writer by publishers for 2008 and am a regular contributor for Horseman Magazine.
I love God, my family, animals, the beach, the mountains, cooking, painting, singing, playing the guitar, and saltwater fishing. I'm 51 and married, with three adult daughters and 7 grandkids - with #8 on the way.
Fortunately, they all live nearby. I've discovered that I'm addicted to HP. Is there a 12-step program? In the past, I've bred and trained horses and dogs. I've had all kinds of pets: horses, ponies, miniature horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, turtles, fish, birds, cows, snakes, and frogs. I'm a supporter of animal rescue and have personally saved many homeless pets and injured critters.

Instead of saying a little about myself, hight age blah blah blah I thought I would give you a brief story. Something that happened in my life that is kinda weird. Having lived a weird life it seems appropriate.
Sitting next to a dead body-
A few years into my 'adult' life I had a few difficulties, a break up with my boy friend lead to moving back to Seattle from upstate NY to stay with some friends while I got back on my feet. I had not seen my adopted mom since moving to upstate NY so she came to town to visit me in seattle. She lives on a farm near the town of Forks. We had had a family friend growing up (this would be back when I lived in Missouri, I love moving I guess) called Ernie. Ernie was this great old guy who rescued badly abused animals and had been at one point stranded on a deserted island (thats what I was told as to why he had few friends and family). It turns out that when his health started to get real bad my adopted mom asked him to move to her farm in Washington state since they had better health care for medicare and she could help take care of him.
When my adopted mom came to visit me that day to go get a meal and catch up she had a little surprise in the back of the truck. She pulled into the drive to pick me up from my friends and told me that there was something she had to do before we could go have dinner. Our old family friend Ernie had died and needed to be dropped off at a funeral home in Seattle. There was not really much room in the cab of the trucks so I sat in the back with Ernie, but it w asn't Ernie. Ernie had been a big guy, I mean really big, this body was just a stick figure body and the sheet covering it was probably heavier. My adopted mom had tried to cover the smell with perfume and goodness knows what, it was a light smell. Nothing much to it really, just similar to nursing homes but cleaner, it was a clean smell and dead.
I am surprised we were not arrested dropping this body off at the morgue at sunset. The sunset I remember, it was one of those beautiful affairs, the sky a brilliance of reds and oranges with fluffy wisps of cloud. The dying day and the dead body, we certainly did raise the eyebrows of the fellows working the morgue that day. My adopted mom, who used to wear dead raccoon penises for jewelry and me, her loving daughter dropped off the dead body of an old family friend and then had Chinese for dinner. The sun set and night took the reins until the sun was ready to make a new day with no Ernie in it. Rest in peace old friend.

First and foremost, though, I am an recovering addict and alcoholic. I have been clean and sober since June 24th, 2008. Writing here on HubPages gives me much needed focus and an opportunity for expression; this community is truly supportive and valued.
I am a 53 year old woman living in California's Eastern Sierras. While my only son left home a year go, I have no time for empty nest syndrome- I have 6 dogs and casts as well as a husband to care for.
I lived and studied in the People's Republic of China in 1985 learning the health-care delivery system post-Mao. Fascinating-got my MA in Medical Sociology. Right after that I became a mom.
I stayed home and life's been pretty much as a stay-at-home mother until my son, Aaron, went off to school. Whew! Anyhow, I've always been an avid reader, love philosophy and psychology-can't get enough. I live in my head!
#19: Beth100
I am innovative, creative, intelligent and funny. I have designed, created and built many different types of projects. Always changing, learning, growing and creating.
I spent some time writing and chatting in the forums with other community hubbers. I am enjoying my HubPages experience, simply because of the wide variety of characters/people/personalities, who take part in the Hubber Community.

I am a PhD biomedical scientist and qualified information specialist, but now work as a freelance medical translator and book indexer.
I have been doing this full-time for nearly six years now and gladly accept the potential financial insecurity for the freedom it brings me. I live in Wales with my four cats. Having lived in cities all my life, I love the peace of my Welsh valley and the mountains that surround it.
My main interest is Egyptology, particularly the religious/spiritual aspects of Ancient Egyptian culture. I have a particular fondness for the lion-headed goddess Sekhmet. Esotericism, Jungian psychology, astrology and tarot also fascinate me. I fiddle and sing with Immanuel's Ground West Gallery quire, which is based in Warwick.
This is the music of the English village church, which was performed by a small group of singers and members of the village band. The Victorians replaced the fiddles, clarinets and serpents, and the raucous (oops, I mean rousing), full-blooded music with organs and Hymns Ancient and Modern (hiss, boo!). Thomas Hardy writes about the extinction of one such quire in his Under the Greenwood Tree.
Classical, world and folk music are all important in my life. I dearly desire to play folk fiddle, but, having learned violin at school, remain a prisoner of "the dots" and find it difficult to learn by ear and memorise tunes. There is never enough time to read as much as I want. I read all sorts of fiction and non-fiction, but particularly enjoy fantasy and murder mysteries. I'm hoping to have fun here for a long time to come! I've been made to feel very welcome and am enjoying meeting hubbers from around the world.
#21: Ms. Chievous
My interests? I love to be creative when time allows. I generally like people and think we all have something to learn from each other.. good or bad. My skills are problem solving (to an obnoxious level) and patience. I am usually that person in the background taking in all that is going on around me!
I am a mother of a toddler who never ceases to amaze me! I learn from him everyday.
I generally try to see the good in people. I have spent my life working with people so sometimes it is hard to stay positive all of the time. But I guess that is human nature.
Through these hubpages I hope to inspire others and more importantly be inspired. I am a big believer in the fact you can learn something from everyone and what goes around comes around. Put out positive energy and you will recieve it right back!
#22: MistyHorizon
Cindy (aka Mistyhorizon2003), formerly worked at a veterinary practice in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. She also has a great interest in coarse (Freshwater) fishing and runs a coarse fishing lake with her business partner Andy.
Cindy's other interests include gardening, singing, the countryside, playing pool and watching sci-fi television series such as Stargate and Star Trek. Cindy has had a variety of lifetime experiences and has accumulated knowledge on various subjects along the way. She hopes to be able to pass on some of this for the betterment or improvement of others.

I am a married, 53 year old woman with a wonderful husband, Richard.I live in the suburb of Thornlands, which is a suburb in Australia .As you can see by my hubs, I have had a lot of problems with my health but if I didn't have Richard there with me by my side, encouraging me to hang in there, I don't know if I could have made it this far because I find it hard to stay positve when things go wrong. We have had to weather some very bad storms in our relationship, due to my illnesses putting me in the hospital more time than I care to remember . On the good side of things, I have so much to be grateful for as well. I grew up with two wonderful parents and three sisters, who are all married with children.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a rare neurodegenerative Disease, Multiple System Atrophy in 2006, which doesn't have a cure, bummer. It has affected all the systems of my body. This is why I joined hubpages, as I needed something to keep my mind from wondering and thinking of all the bad things that were happening at the time. I am so pleased I have joined the "Hubber Family", because this is what it feels like, because it seems that everyone is looking out for each other and you see this in "fan mail" and "comments. I am enjoying it so much and have had some lovely people saying nice things about my "hubs"
I am a trained singer, and up until two years ago, I used to sing in the church choir. My voice has now been damaged from my disease, which saddens me a lot because I love to sing and I have been doing so since I was three. I sang in my first eisteddfod when I just five years of age and I can still remember the song "I love to blow bubbles".Over the years, I sang at lots of weddings and other functions. I even entered a talent quest when I was just 17, having only just started having singing lessons,I did it on a dare. The band playing at the time was "Wickety Wak", and I won.
In 1980 I joined a Musical Comedy Society and sang in a number of productions, including "Sound of Music", "Oklahoma, "The Merry Widow" and last but not least I was in a Gilbert & Sullivan Opera called "Trial By Jury". I played the female lead , the Plaintiff, in this. I was thrilled to get the part because up until then, I had only sung in the chorus.
I was in RAAF, where I was in the mustering, the term they refer to for your type of employment, where I did a course in being a "Nursing Aide". I loved this so much, until I became sick, but I still was able to use the knowledge I gained from this experience to get employment as a Medical Secretary, which I really loved.
I love meeting people and I guess this why I thought it would be another good idea to join Hubpages. I have been doing some reading on how to carry out the various functions and have really enjoyed reading some of the other Hubber's stories and articles. You can find something on just about anything and everything here.
I am looking forward to meeting a lot of people, so thankyou HubPages for giving me this opportunity to express myself so openly. I love being here and hope to stay a long time.
#24: Dorsi
People often ask me where my name Dorsi came from - well it's a loooong story so you'll have to read the beginning of my book to find that one out!
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the tumultuous 60's and 70's and am a "been there and done that" kind of chick. If you live in the Silicon Valley you may have come across my popular community column "Around The Monument" published by the ANG Newspaper Group. I write about: Business, Advertising, Craigslist , Border Collies , the Sign Industry , ADHD , Conspiracy Theories , Art , Climate and Political Change.
I love to write and if you love to write too then please come join me here at HubPages: HubPages New User Signup where you can polish your writing skills and earn money while you do it!
#25: Fastfreta
I am a divorced mother of five adult children, grandmother of five. I only recently discovered the joys of writing. My other passion is reading.
My hubs are about my musings. My mind is never idle, I'm always thinking, so HubPages is a perfect outlet for my deep thoughts. I write about subjects that affect me deeply, sometimes funny, sometimes serious. However, I can find humor in almost everything that I think about, so most of my hubs will reflect that.
Anything I do can spark a thought deep enough to write about, so it is becoming easier for me to write. However, I love to read, so it is hard to not read for hours on HubPages. My education is somewhat informal.
I graduated High School, and have done a little college throughout the years. Most of my education comes from reading and listening intently to educated people. Here again HubPages fills that requirement. I don't like controversy, and I have very strong views on Religion and Politics, ergo, I won't ever be making comments on either.
#26: Jayjay40
Hello everyone. I'm a 50 year old young lady from Bristol.
I love my family , gardening and genealogy. My music taste is loud and my clothes are louder.
I work as a teaching assistant at a primary school, so bad language doesn't bother me: as I'm told where to go and what to do when I get there on a daily basis.
Love hub pages as I love to write.
#27: Myownworld
Ever since a child, I have imagined what it must feel like to have one place in this world you can call your own...where you think, question and create whatever it is you wish, and no one may ever know.
Almost like fish staring with unblinking gaze at nothing at all...while somewhere, you roam distant shores. In my mind I have found this place…and the world of words…is a little window leading into it. Within this space, I live…breathe…exist!
Not a daughter, wife, mother, friend….no, the roles come later. This is the core…of one life…speaking to another. It’s what I bring to my words.. it’s what I lay bare on these pages before your eyes.

I am happily married. I am also a mother of 4 sons and a grandmother to 3 granddaughters. I love working in the garden, quilting, spending time with my family, reading a good book, writing short stories and poems.
I enjoy being in the kitchen cooking meals for my husband and myself or for the entire family. I love life and show it everyday.
I believe that you should be good to yourself and the people around you. God loves each and everyone of us.
#29: Rmcrayne
My name is Rose Mary. I was born in S.C., and lived there until I was almost 30. I was raised very close to a gaggle of aunts, uncles and cousins. My mother and all of my aunts are great Southern cooks. I like to think I’m not so bad myself.
I have been an Occupational Therapist since 1987, almost all of my career in the Air Force. I spent about half of my career doing Pediatric Occupational Therapy, including school-based therapy overseas. The last 6+ years I specialized in hand and upper extremity care. The overwhelming majority of my case load worked at a desk all day, as did I. What I know about the aches and pains, and numbness and tingling associated with driving a desk all day is A LOT! I loved educating clients.
I can’t wait to share what I learned from my clients, as well as lessons learned from my own pain. Seems I have a true knack for this stuff, with simple, logical solutions. Let’s let that be our little secret. Don’t want to make those primary care doctors, orthopedist and neurologists defensive!
I settled in San Antonio Texas, where I have lived a total of 7 years, having been stationed here twice. I love San Antonio, Texas Hill Country, and Texas coast travel. Of course the food is always one of my favorite parts of travel, in this country or any other!
Since I retired, I’ve had the opportunity to reacquaint with my creative, artsy craftsy side. I discovered mosaics through a friend. I drafted designs in one all-nighter, which turned into Old Glory Designs, several series of patriotic mosaic designs, all reminiscent of the American flag.

I have a diploma in Library Techniques and I'm currently working as an administrative assistant at a book wholesaler. I have just been accepted as the Canada Green Living Examiner on Examiner.com. Please drop by. Send me a message if you want me to send you a referral.
I have several articles on the Scottish Culture site at Bellaonline. I recently stepped down as an editor there. I also enjoy writing at HowToDoThings.com. They publish articles on how to do things. And as if I don't belong to enough writing sites already I just signed up at Factoidz. You write short articles answering questions users have.
I also recently signed up at YouSayToo, thanks to Darkside for finding that site. You write blogs, play games, and can link to your own blog. I also have some content up at Triond, it's fun and easy to make money there and payout is only 50 cents. They recently added Adsense earning! I have also written at Helium and Gather. So far I'm finding HubPages to be the best, with the friendliest people by far.

Hey Hubbers! For about two years now I've been writing hubs for my employer under the pen name ChloeComfort and finally decided - hey, why not create my own hubs too!
From 9am-2pm I'm all Chloe. After that (and sometimes before) I'm all me - pddm67.
So, here I am. A rocker chick w/a tattoo, born and bred in New York. Married my best friend 15 years ago and we're still goin strong. Have two wonderfully rotten children who keep me busy day in and out.
A solitary practioner of Wicca and always appreciative of any advice, knowledge or guidance passed my way.
Personality traits - well, my zodiac sign is Leo and that pretty much describes me to a "T". Some of my passions include (but are not limited to):Cooking, reading, the paranormal, astronomy, archaeology, and photography. Just wish I had more hours in the day to devote to each. Here is some extra info : age - 42, height - 5'1in., hair - brown (for now ), eyes - brown, Nationality - Italian.

I am a mother, a daughter, a friend. I am a native New Yorker. I have traveled for business and for fun. I have been up and down and all around.
I am just a girl, a compassionate woman with a curious mind, a razor-sharp wit, an open heart, an advancing soul, and a creative spirit.
I would like my Hubbing to be like a wave on the Ocean. A place to share and grow and with a little courage find balance and serenity (and maybe a little serendipity) in my life.
#33: Englightenedsoul
My name is Natasha and I am here on hubpages to make friends, share my writings and If possible also earn at the same time.
I really love the hubpages community and all I can say is now I am a hubpages addict.
The Hubber Community is so helpful, supportive and caring and should I ever need anything, I can ask anyone and I'll always be able to receive someone to point me in the right direction.
There are a lot of Hubbers who are active in the forums and really enjoy helping others. This is one thing that makes HubPages addictive.

Hi, My name is Jen. I have just finished a Philosophy Degree and I'm now looking for a job or career, although this is proving easier said than done.
I have always wanted to be a writer and I suppose I've written many blogs before, but never published them because I just never knew that they could be interesting to other people.
My thoughts tend to vary from controversial, deep and profound to material, banal and superficial.
I write about my own experiences and opinions I have on world issues, music and various products. I also write songs and poetry and will share those too.
#36: Cari Jean
Since joining HubPages in June 2009, I have learned a lot about writing and trying to make a few extra dollars on the Internet.
I feel I have had many life experiences which helps enrich my writing and give me various topics to write about.
Some of these life experiences include having a congenital heart defect for which I've had four open heart surgeries, having a special needs daughter, living in the great state of North Dakota, running a business, being a stay at home mom and my most important experience of all - rededicating my life to Christ eleven years ago.
#37: WyanJen
I'm Jen. I'm surviving in Detroit... so far...I'm going back to my writing roots.
I started college with the plan to be a freelance writer, but got sidetracked when I fell in love with graphic arts.
Writing and design are two things I am passionate about. I'm not sure why it took me 20 years to realize I can be doing both.
#38: KCC Big Country
In an effort to become a better writer, I began searching online in October 2008 and found HubPages. It was exactly the type of site that would allow me to have a little fun and hone my writing skills.
Every day is a learning adventure. I write about a variety of topics, but primarily my day-to-day observations and all the little things I’ve learned along the way.
My cumulative live experience has provided so much good material. I’ve been there and back and have a few things to say about it.
#39: Rochelle Frank
Rochelle Frank taught in elementary schools as a substitute teacher and also presented sub teacher training workshops.
With her friend, free-lance photographer Linda Gast, she produced a children's book using Linda's actual photos of a tiny owl. "So What, Saw-Whet?" , is now sold in many nature centers across the North America-- especially in areas inhabited by the Saw-Whet Owl.
Rochelle volunteers to lead tourists astray by giving tours at at a local gold rush history museum in the mother-lode country of California near Yosemite National Park.
I hope you will read and comment on some of my hubs, and I hope you will sign up for HubPages and write some of your own.

I am a mother of three wonderful children, who are all different but wonderful children, they always keep me on my toes. I love working as a CNA at a nursing home.
My grandmother always told me i would make a good writer. I can't remember why she told me this. I believe when i was young I would write to her instead of talking to her.
I can also tell people more through my writing instead of speaking it. I look forward to doing lots of writings here that I hope everyone will enjoy and a little extra income for my family.
#41: Anamika S
My name is Anamika. I love watching Comedy Movies, Cooking, Traveling and listening to Ghazals and Devotional Songs.

I also have a fascination for Rudraksha Beads and GemStones. So you would find a lot of articles from me on those subjects.
I am also a freelance writer and sell Pearl, Crystal and Rudraksha Beads Online. I have been here for 2 years now and have already published 300 Articles covering a variety of Topics.
#42: AnythingArtzy
My name is Brenda Cooper, a Christian mother of 2 boys ages 26 and 16.
I love anything that has to do with being creative. I'm into painting and photography and have worked in both since high school.
I also write poetry, sculpt with paper mache, make hand made rag rugs and hand painted floor cloths.
I will be posting quite a few hubs on many different artistic projects and a few other things of interest to me so please book mark me and check back.
#43: Cindy Vine
Born in Cape Town, South Africa but lived in many different countries, and experienced many different cultures first hand. Currently living in Tanzania.
Author of the self-help book Fear, Phobias and Frozen Feet as well as Stop the world, I need to pee! a fictional account of the life and crimes of Fenella Fisher. I have just completed my next novel The Case of Billy B. In November 2009 I managed to write 50 000 words in 30 days during NaNoWriMo.
I have very eclectic tastes in most things - art, literature, cooking, writing, history, interesting discussions, making sausages and traveling, which comes through in my writing. I think I have a good sense of humour but I can write about serious topics as well as completely offbeat off the wall stuff.
I'd like to attract armchair travelers to my Travel Hubs, demented quirky retrobates to my offbeat hubs, people who've suffered abuse to my relationships hubs and more serious-minded intellectual-types to my more serious topics. Hopefully, I can cater to everybody's tastes.
This is a great community! I love it here and have made some good friends who support me in my writing! Welcome!
#44: CrystalStarWoman
I have just discovered HubPages and I'm exploring the site, seeing what's what and who's who.
I am a very busy lady, running a small business from home. I make gorgeous little heartfelt and sentimental gifts, Boxez and Bagz of Blessingz, for all occasions - which I sell mainly through eBay and Amazon. (I am also trying out Etsy, Bonanzle and CQout but it's early days yet...)
I post a blog each day, The Daily Divination, which includes the odd ramble about what's going on in my life and a daily zodiac horoscope with a difference. I use various Tarot and Divination Cards to give messages and insights for each of the star signs every day, instead of the more usual astrology. So if you want to know what the day has in store for you, please visit my blog!
I am a very creative person, I'm always coming up with ideas and I like making things. I love working with crystals and make jewellery, when I get time.
(Time management is a big problem for me! There are never enough hours in the day to do what I would like to do.)
On top of everything else, I am also a Zazzle addict!
I now have two Zazzle galleries 'Cheeky Witch' - for wiccan and pagan folk, which allows me to unleash my naughty side and cheeky sense of humour... and my latest one, 'The Personal Touch' which is quite cutesy and for families and children.

My husband is the love of my life -- a fabulous, energetic man. We have five little boys, who we are raising to be men of integrity.

The hub is highly informative and full of energy and vibrancy. All the individuals whose short description made were really inspiring. I learnt lot of things from this hub. It not only increases our interaction to the people, we share our joys, we put a lot of quality time and we also earn money. Therefore in each and every aspect it is really wonderful.
